Lay It Down

Why do I completely lack the ability to discuss certain topics with a girl? Specifically with the girl I like and the fact that I like her and that I sense she might like me back and that I think we should consider our feelings for each other.

Why can't I put myself out there? Why do I have to have a fear of rejection?
