To Say the Very Least

Well, I didn't get the position in Self-Serve Warehouse. The manager said that I had a great interview and application, but she just needed someone with availability a little more open than my own. Oh well, there are other departments hiring right now. We'll see.

Ocean's 12, not that good. But Broadway Grill is good. So is hanging out with a group of good friends from the dorms.

All in all, a decent start to my winter break.

Fakin' It

Its all done. I'm done with my quarter. All I have to do is turn in my completed portfolio tomorrow and then I can go home. We'll see if they can tell that I tried to coast through english.

Paperback Writer

I'm desperately trying to finish my english portfolio. Its not hard, just tedious. And the instructor was a little vague about some requirements of the final portfolio. But with every revision, I get closer to being done. And I'm through with the hardest papers, so that's a plus.

Trampled Underfoot

I like being the nice guy. The one who's thoughful and caring. It suits me. And other people tell me that it suits me. They also tell me that being the nice guy is a good thing. But why don't I feel the same way sometimes. And why is being the nice guy not getting me ahead at this point in my life? What's up with that?

Ways & Means

I had an interview yesterday for IKEA's Self-Serve Warehouse. I feel like it went very well and at the end the interviewer said that I had "a great interest form and a great interview." I'm going to take that as good sign. But who knows. I will know tomorrow though.

Here's to good luck.
